If the Super-X cars are eight-cylinder fun, then the X Cars are four-cylinder fun. The motivation is the same - low cost racing. Part of the Wild n' Wacky Wednesday program, the division continues to grow in both cars and popularity. Also like the Super-X cars, there are points involved but the basic motivation is financially-feasible racing.

John Kelly III	The 2006 Wild n' Wacky X-Car champion, had four seconds among 10 top fives and 14 top 10s. Runner-up Curt D'Addario Sr. led the entire series with 10 victories. Craig Miner and Michael Yost had two apiece while Andrew Becker, John Bowes and Glen Thomas Jr. claimed one each.
