THURSDAY PRACTICE
FEE-
· $40 per car, people are free.
SCHEDULE-
· The gate opens @ 3:45pm, and practice runs from 4pm to 7pm. We will post any cancellation notice on www.speedbowl.com and on our outgoing message at 860 442 1585.
REQUIREMENTS-
· All people who enter the pit area are required to sign a release waiver. Minor’s must have a Minor Release Form already filled out, signed, and on file with the track office in order to be granted pit access on Thursdays.
· The Minor Release Form is NOT available on Thursday.
CAR COUNT-
· 25 cars are allowed to practice on Thursdays.
· You MUST email the track (info@speedbowl.com) in advance and get on the practice list for that weeks practice. You will be assigned a reservation number, please have that number available at sign-in. Teams without a number will not be allowed to enter and practice.
NOTES-
· Up to 3 cars are allowed on the track at one time. The cars must be from the same division, or must race at the approximate same speed as the others.
· All cars will start the practice 1/3 lap away from each other.
· There is no passing or racing during these practice sessions. If you catch the car in front of you, you must slow down and let the gap “open” before you resume racing.
· Thursday Practice is a “non-competition” day. If you “race” anyone on the track you will be black-flagged and removed from that days practice session.
· This practice session is not guaranteed. If we have weather, accidents, or race track surface problems, we will attempt to make the situation as good as possible, but you are not guaranteed any number of laps.
· We expect all competitors to assist in any track prep that needs to be done. We do not have a track crew available, so we expect all participants to help out, and by doing so will keep the costs of this very useful practice at a minimum.
· The gate person, EMT, and flagman are the officials for the practice event. They have complete authority over what transpires.
