Palmer, Gertsch Wild n' Wacky Winners
Jason Palmer passed George Whitney at the halfway point, going on to win the 20-lap Legends feature at Waterford Speedbowl’s first Wild n’ Wacky Wednesday of the season. Palmer was trailed by Mark Bakaj, Whitney, Justin Rau, and, Glen Billings.
Other Feature winners were Rob Corey (Super X Car), Mike Walsh (X Car), and,
Bill Gerstch, Jr. (X Modified).

Six divisions on Saturday night menu
The action will shift into high gear Saturday night with a six-division offering. The Northeastern Midget Association returns to join the Speedway’s regular Saturday night fare, the SK-Modifieds, Late Models, Sportsman, Mini Stocks and Legends.
Speed and competition have been extraordinary so far, SK laps consistently in the very low 13s. Four of five winning passes last week came in the outside lane.

Speedbowl History Book On Sale
Dave Dykes’ Speedbowl 50th anniversary picture book was a major success five years ago. Everybody thought it was a sellout and it became a sought after item. Well, additional copies have surfaced and will be on sale at the Speedbowl concession stand until further notice. The book containsover 250 photos, many of them very rare, divided into five decades. It is a true collectors item.

Mandatory for all drivers by June 30, 2008. This will involve drivers on both Saturday and Wednesday nights.
The price for 2008 is $39.95 each. Please follow the directions below for the sign-up procedures and more information on the program. After filling out the short registration form your fast track bracelet will be delivered to the Speedbowl for proper distribution.
